Lindt Petits Desserts

Lindt Petits Desserts was an attractive box of seven chocolates shaped in the form of the dessert they represent — tiramisu, meringue, creme brulee, millefeuille, lemon tart, macaroon, and brownie.

The first one I ate was the tiramisu, one of my favorite desserts. And it was exquisite! It looked and tasted just like a real tiramisu! There was so much flavor — milk chocolate, coffee, liquor, cocoa, cream, dark chocolate biscuit…all in such a small piece of chocolate! Really awesome!

Creme brulee was another amazing chocolate. It was a smooth rich creamy filling in a thin milk chocolate cup. It also had tiny bits of caramel on top, which gave a nice sweetness to its taste and crunch to its texture.

The meringue was a hazelnut praline with meringue bits covered in milk chocolate. The hint of lemon in its creamy filling was delightful!

Milk chocolate was dominant in the macaroon, although it also had a creamy coconut taste.

The millefeuille was a fairly plain but pleasant milk chocolate praline. Decent but nothing great.

I loved the brownie — a dark chocolate with nuts. Very rich. Very dense. Very chocolatey.

Last but not the least was the lemon tart. Creamy, smooth, tangy lemon filling in a milk chocolate cup topped with little pices of meringue…..Yum!

As a whole, Lindt Petits Desserts was quite impressive. Expensive, yes, and insanely so if I may add. But it was worth a try.
