Lindt Lindor 60% Cacao Extra Dark Chocolates

Among all the ‘glittering’ chocolates in the lovely Lindt store, one item that caught my eye was Lindor Extra Dark Chocolate. With its predominantly black wrapping, it was so somber-looking!

However, I soon realized why…..it was 60% cacao chocolate! Nicee!

I tried it as soon as I got home.

The truffle was a light chocolate ball coated in dark chocolate, and it had a faint cocoa scent.

Loved the contrast between the inner and outer chocolates! The shell was dry and ‘crunchy’, while the filling was velvety soft and creamy!

The cocoa taste was mainly in the coating. The center had more of a milky undertone, which easily offset the dark chocolate flavor. Hence, the aftertaste was that of a light vanilla-like sweetness and almost none of the cocoa bitterness!

Lindor 60% Cacao Extra Dark Chocolate was truly a divine truffle. Its textures and flavors were wonderfully-balanced. Pricey, but worth it. 😀
